What is it with Hyaluronic Acid?

Today I would like to discuss a little bit about the importance of hyaluronic acid in the skin

Perhaps the most interesting and important functions of hyaluronic acid is its improved capability of the skin to retain moisture. Hyaluronic acid has the ability to bind water equivalent to 1000 times it’s own molecular weight!

Due to its exceptional capability to hold moisture, hyaluronic acid affects the stratum corneum resulting in a more uniform skin rejuvenation for a more smooth, uniform skin texture.

So it is not surprising that hyaluronic acid is often called the "key to the fountain of youth."

I would highly recommend that you incorporate in your skin care regime products that contain hyaluronic acid as one of the main ingredients.  Furthesr I would say that it is better to opt for a day cream or a 24-hour care cream with hyaluronic acid, while at night use a cream containing more nutrients and vitamins.
