Hello again!
Lets continue our
talk about the different skin types, and talk a little about…..
Sensitive Skin
Based on my
personal experience with my clients, I am of the opinion that although in most cases sensitive skin is based on genetics, there is a good portion of women
that have sensitive skin, because they cause it themselves, by not taking
proper care of their skin. Now before you start sending me a ton of
emails for saying this…let me explain myself.
Although in
general our skin is resilient and is capable to quickly regain its form, it
will react in a negative way with prolonged exposure to the strong sun, and the
pollutants that are so abundant around
us every day. You need to remember, then, that your skin is also thin and
delicate, and must provide it the proper care accordingly.
The sensitive
and hypersensitive skins are typically found on blondes and redheads.
This type of
skin does not tan in the sun, but instead it fills with freckles and it easily burns. It definitely needs special skin care
products, specifically for sensitive skins otherwise it will get irritated and produce
stains, spots and rashes.
Usually, women
with sensitive and hypersensitive skin, are more prone to allergies and even allergic
asthma. Furthermore, their emotions
easily “show” on their face, for example their cheeks (and other parts of the
face) blush easily, while their skin will appear pale when suffering from
anxiety, fear or nausea.
Like I
mentioned special care products should always be used.
What do I recommend?
The first line
I recommend to my clients with sensitive skin, as well as younger clients that are
now starting to use skin care creams, is the Lady Esther Sensitive Line.
All the
products in the Lady Esther Sensitive Line are “innocent” enough to be used by
even the most sensitive skins, and yet they contain effective ingredients that
will help strengthen the functions of the skin and maintain skin elasticity. These include moisturizing elements, natural oils, and vitamins. The Sensitive Line is a complete line with cleanser, tonic, mask, cream, and moisturizing serum.
Until the next
post….Be Beautiful!
